Richard Mansfield, Ed.D.

Dick has more than twenty years experience in consulting, human resource development and assessment. He has designed assessments and programs for large government agencies, corporations and colleges, often for intercultural situations here and abroad, in countries such as India, Indonesia and the U.K.

In his first career, at Temple University, he taught statistics and human development, did research on creativity, and was a department chairperson. He left higher education to become a consultant – first at McBer and Company, where he became Director of Research, and then at an organizational change consulting firm.

He is a co-author of The Value-Added Employee and The Psychology of Creativity and Discovery.

Dick enjoys hiking, jogging, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and curling. He is an avid dog lover, and is devoted to his two vizslas. Dick holds an A.B. and an Ed.D., both from Harvard University.
