Laura Kangas

Laura brings clients the ability to value difference and the leverage ways it can make the difference between average performance and world class performance. Valuing difference can change an organization's life and an individual's life, in ways that nothing else can. This is how she lives her life. Her family has a long history of fighting for justice and as a way to live.
Laura’s expertise is personal and organizational development. She strategically designs and facilitates programs to enhance workplace performance for greater satisfaction and profitability.
She has designed and facilitated life-changing diversity train-the-trainer workshops primarily for Fortune 100 corporations.

At Digital Equipment Corporation, she co-designed, manager and co-facilitated a diversity seminar delivered to over 150,000 employees.. She also produced a video entitled “Celebrating Diversity: A Dialogue at Lake Powell,” to introduce the concept of diversity to corporate leaders. Laura teaches courses on managing diversity for Lesley University’s School of Management in Cambridge, MA.

She holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a M.Ed. from Harvard University.
